Ambassador Nebojša Rodić was born in 1953. He graduated from the Faculty og Law of the University of Belgrade in 1977, majoring in International Relations and Foreign Policy.
He spent almost his entire working life in state administration bodies. He also worked as a assistant minister for information, then undersecretary of state.
In the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia he worked as a Deputy secretary of the Assembly and Chief of Staff of the President of the Assembly, as well as the President of the Republic.
He served as a General Secretary of the President of the Republic, then until 2013 he was the Director of the Security and Information Agency, as well as a Member of the Government and Minister of Defence until April 2014.
He has been employed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a ambassador, since 2000. In the period 2014 to 2018, he was extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Azerbaijan. From September 2018 to September 2023, he was Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Austria.
Speaks French and English.
He is co-author of the book "Goverments of Serbia from 1804 to 2004".
